Doris McDevitt Tiffany of Leesburg, Virginia passed away peacefully surrounded by family August 23, 2016 at INOVA Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 88. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Currell S. Tiffany of Leesburg, her daughter Sandra T. Rose and husband Paul of Hamilton, VA and son Syd Tiffany and wife Karen of Culpeper, VA. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Paul III, Katelyn and Lauren Rose, Heather and Eric Tiffany, and stepgrandson Charles Warren. Born September 18, 1927 to John H. and Suzanna T. McDevitt on Clover Hill Farm at Culpeper, Doris attended Madison College in Harrisonburg, VA and then worked for C&P Telephone Company for several years. She was a longtime member of Leesburg Baptist Church, Leesburg Lioness Club and The Woman's Club of Loudoun. Doris was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all. Everyone is invited to a gathering between 10:00 am to 11:00 am on September 3, 2016 at Leesburg Community Church, 835 Lee Ave SW, Leesburg, VA 20175 where Memorial services will immediately follow starting at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Parkinson 's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018 or a charity of choice.
