Dorothy Etoile West, 91, of Leesburg, VA, formerly of Alexandria, VA, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012. She was born in Washington, DC and was a secretary for the Department of the Army. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, George Ray West, her parents, William and Mary Moore and sisters Cecil Munn, Jean Kaufman and Audrey Hurley. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Ayers (Douglas), her brother, John Moore (Ida), two grandchildren, Michael Ayers (Diedre), Laura Lobb (Philip) and three great-grandchildren, Carley, Clayton and Liam. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm April 5, 2012 at Mount Comfort Cemetery, 6600 South Kings Highway, Alexandria, VA.
