Obituary
Edna M. Raines, 93, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 27, 2011.
She was the wife of the late William H. Raines, Sr. and is survived by her son William H. Raines Jr., daughter, Patricia A. Griffin, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A native of Baltimore, Maryland, where she was a devoted member of Temple Baptist Church for 50 plus years. Since moving to Northern Virginia she was embraced by Leesburg Community Church.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at the Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Road, NE, Leesburg, Virginia 20176.
The interment will be on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Loudon Park Cemetery 3620 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21229.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Gideons International, Loudoun Camp, P.O. Box 1143, Sterling, Virginia 20167 or to The Salvation Army, 10 Cardinal Park Drive, Leesburg, Virginia 20176.
