Obituary

Edward W. Wenrich, 93, passed away March 9, 2016.

Born October 1, 1922, he was the son of the late Marlin and Pauline Wenrich. He married Ethel Ruth Moon on September 14, 1946. She preceded him in death in 2007.

He proudly served his country in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a prisoner of war in Barth, Germany for 14 months.

He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and was employed by the Rockwell Manufacturing Company for 35 years. He served as the General Manager of the DuBois Plants from 1963-1972.

In 1984, he and his wife retired to Seabrook Island, S.C. He served as his church treasurer and was involved with Prison Ministry. He was the treasurer and a state delegate for the Prisoner of War Association.

He is survived by his daughters: Marline (Rick) Erickson of Purcellville, VA., Nancy (Lloyd) McCreight of Reynoldsville, PA., and Rebecca (Robert) Stewart of Pittsburgh, PA.; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Charleston, SC.
