Personal notes from her children:

Tim - Whatever good we have done, what we are, and what our children are, we owe to her. The earliest letters I found between her and Dad were written in 1946. That's 72 years, a love story. You've found your peace Mom.

Steve – From Mom I learned to treat people with kindness but to stand my ground when it mattered. In her I saw a resilient strength, the importance of telling the truth, and fierce loyalty to family and friends. She has been the rock of our family.

Susan - My beautiful, amazing Mom is in heaven now. My first unconditional love. I will miss you so much.  No words can express what you have and will continue to mean to me.

Mike – Our Mom and Dad were married for 66 years and had a strong bond that couldn't be separated by earthly boundaries. She was the Foundation of our Family. Always ready to give part of herself to be kind to or to help someone else. We will miss her Deeply, but her character and spirit will live in the generations of her Family that follow.
