Elizabeth "Betsy" Glaves Saville (Grand Forks Central High School, North Dakota, Class of 1961) of Leesburg, Virginia, passed away on 29 November 2019.  She was born in 1943 in Columbus, Ohio, to Mary Louise Hart, descendant of the first settlers of Maryland & New England.  Her adoptive parents, Archie Hubbard Glaves & Ruth Elizabeth Brown, instilled in her a deep and abiding love of family, literature, and—as a public school teacher, pianist, vocalist, and patron—the arts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, older brothers (John & David Glaves), sister-in-law (Marjane Winston), and son-in-law (Jim Overesch).  Surviving Betsy are her husband (J. Lee Saville) and younger brother (Paul Glaves and his family, Voni, Mike, and Melanie).  She is also survived by three children (Scott, Robin Overesch, & Chris and his wife Michelle), grandchildren (Benjamin and his wife Carly, Elizabeth "Betsy", Grace Elizabeth, & Emma Noel), and extended relations.
