Eoin Joseph Murphy died October 25, 2010 at Inova Fairfax Hospital after a short illness. He was born October 23, 1921 in Ireland and came to America in 1947. Eoin is survived by his wife Imelda (nee Duignan) of Leesburg and two daughters, Fiona Murphy-Csizmadia and Una Murphy; daugther-in-law Andrea Murphy; sons-in-law Jimmy Csizmadia and Stephen Levenson; and four grandchildren Brendan and Morgan Murphy, and Emily and Sean Csizmadia; his son, Dr. Sean C. Murphy predeceased him. May he rest in peace.

The family will be receiving visitors at Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd NE, Leesburg, VA Thursday, October 28 between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m and Friday, October 29 between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm at St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church 231 N King Street, Leesburg, VA with the burial to immediately follow.

Refreshments will be shared with family and friends following the burial at Leesburg Volunteer Fire Department, 215 Loudoun St SW, Leesburg, VA.
