Evelyn Marie Cooper of Leesburg, Virginia passed away while a resident of Heritage Hall in Leesburg. Mrs. Cooper was 88 years old. Born in Virginia on May 3, 1923, she is the daughter of Othor and Mary (Cooper) Harrison. She and husband Albert C. "Shorty" Cooper were blessed with two children, Albert "Lee" and Linda. Mrs. Cooper shared her love of caregiver with others; holding a position of companion with the medical team.

She is survived by her children Albert "Lee" Cooper of Lovettsville, Va and Linda Huffman of Leesburg.

Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation on Friday, October 28, 2011 between the hours of 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. at the Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd NE, Leesburg, Va 20176. A service will follow at the funeral home starting at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Ray Prichard officiating. Burial will take place in the Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
