Evelyn Victoria James 82, of Paeonian Springs, VA, went to her eternal home on July 24, 2014. Loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and devoted member of the Family Bible Fellowship. She was born June 30, 1932 in Sunny Ridge, Virginia to the late William F. and Susie V. Marcus. She was a homemaker and lived with her husband of 64 years, Earl James.

She is survived by her husband Earl, sons, Earl Michael, Donnie Eugene, Jerry Allen, Jimmy Lawrence, daughters, Sandra Victoria, Cynthia Ann, Linda Diane, Nancy Ellen and preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Sue; Six grandchildren and Nine great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister, Mary Hepner of Winchester, VA and brother Herman Marcus of Greenville, VA and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Colonial Funeral Home in Leesburg, VA from 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday July 28th and on Tuesday July 29th from 10 to 11 A.M. Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday July 29th at 11 A.M. and will be officiated by Pastors Robert Glascock and Jason Walker. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Hamilton, VA. Contributions can be made to Family Bible Fellowship.
