Fannie Frye went home to be with our Lord and Savior in the early morning of April 12, 2021 at her home in Leesburg, VA. She was born on October 11, 1932 in Culpeper, Virginia to the late Mamie Gertrude Frye and the late Irvin Earl Murphy.

Fannie dedicated her life to caring for and raising many children. She was very active with the Salvation Army and was a frequent volunteer. If asked, her greatest accomplishment in life was being a wonderful mother to her children.

Fannie leaves to cherish her memories, her lifelong companion, Sonny Brent; Three sisters, Sadie Davis, Gladys Frye, and Henrietta Douglass; Six children, Valarie Morris, Wanda (Nikki) Douglass, Tiffany Douglass, Chante Douglass, Cecily Douglass, and Stephanie Douglass; Ten grandchildren Portia, Mercedes, Lexy, Ashanti, Jayceeon, Lei'Azia, Naj'jah, Jesiah, Londyn, and Tyson; Three great grandsons William Jr, Mark, and Brian.

Fannie is preceded in death by her five brothers, Wallace, Charles, Velmar, James, Robert Lee; as well as her three sisters Gertrude, Florine, and Lola. May her light continue to shine through her loved ones.
