Fernando Castelli, 60, of Orange, Virginia, passed away on November 26, 2025, in Orange, Virginia.

He was born on October 24, 1965, in Sarandí Grande, Uruguay, to Artigas and Teresita Castelli, and was raised in a close and loving family before eventually making his home in the United States. In time, he met and married Sonia, with whom he built a life centered on faith, family, and commitment. They married in 1992 and together raised two sons, Juan and Alexander, later opening their hearts and home again by adopting two sons, Lee Allison and Richard Greene.

Fernando was a devoted husband and father. His family was at the heart of everything he did, and he worked hard throughout his life to provide stability, guidance, and love. He was also a devoted Catholic, and his faith was an important part of his daily life.

He honorably served in the United States Marine Corps. After his military service, Fernando continued his dedication to serving others through a long career as a civil servant with the United States General Services Administration, where he worked faithfully until his retirement from federal service.

Throughout his life, Fernando lived in several communities where he formed lasting relationships and was deeply loved in many roles. He was a cherished son and brother, a loyal friend, a proud Marine, a dedicated husband, and a caring father. His life of service, faith, and family devotion will be remembered with gratitude by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Sonia Castelli; his four sons, Juan Gomez, Alexander Castelli, Lee Allison, and Richard Greene; his sister, Sandra Ryan; his nephew, Theodore Ryan; and his grandchildren, Mila Yoon, Selah Yoon, and Noah Yoon, with one grandson expected, Luca Fernando Castelli, along with extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
