Frank Raymond Quante of Sterling, Va passed away on Tuesday Dec 18, 2012. Frank was born on July 16, 195¬1 in Fort Brag North Carolina. After graduating from Wakefield High School in Arlington, Va; Frank lived for a brief time in Hawaii before settling permanently in Northern Virginia. Frank was a self-taught TV/Electronics repair man who owned and operated "RJ's TV repair" with his former wife Barbara in downtown Leesburg for many years. For a second career, he became a Cad Technician at Bowman Consulting in Leesburg. Frank was a tinkerer who could fix almost anything, and his humor will be missed by those who knew him.

He leaves behind his mother, Virginia Quante; and five siblings: Susan Quante, Carole Quante, David Quante, Tracey Martin, Patrick Quante; as well as a niece and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Col. Frank Quante Jr., and birth mother, Verda Mae Rotter.

A memorial service has been scheduled for family and friends on Friday, December 28, 2012 starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd NE, Leesburg, VA 20176.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., or a charity of your choice.
