Fulton Want Jr, 94, passed away on Sunday December 5, 2021, at Morningside House in Leesburg, Virginia. Fulton was born on February 24, 1927 in Memphis, Tennessee to Fulton Want Sr and Dorothy Elliotte Want, and moved into Loudoun County in 1947 from the District of Columbia. After graduating high school, he attended Urbana University (Illinois), and graduated with a Bachelors in Finance. He served with the Federal Government in various agencies at home and in Vietnam and India.

He was a member of St. James' Episcopal Church, Leesburg, since 1948. Fulton had a love of life, an exhaustive knowledge of and passion for antiques, and was an avid gardener. He was also a devoted son and brother, caring for his mother Dorothy in her final years, and later for his twin sister Mary Dorothy. Moving to Morningside House in June 2020, Fulton continued to be surrounded by his family and friends until passing peacefully in his sleep.

Fulton was preceded in death by his parents Fulton Sr and Dorothy, his twin sister Mary Dorothy, and his younger brother Elliotte Cullen Want (wife Sarah Thomas, also of Leesburg). He is survived by his nephews William Thomas Want (wife Jane) of Newnan GA and Elliotte Cullen Want Jr  (wife Laura) of Damascus, MD; by his great nephews Andrew Thomas Want, Elliotte Cullen Want III (wife Anna) of Round Hill, VA and Prof. David R. Want (wife Jessica) of Damascus, MD; by his great-great nephew Elliotte Cullen Want IV, and by six great-great nieces: Ellianna, Patricia, Isabella; Elizabeth, Mary, and Sarah.

Relatives and friends may visit the family on Friday December 17, from 10:00 to 11:00am at Colonial Funeral home in Leesburg, VA, to be followed by the celebration of Fulton's life at 11:00am at Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Leesburg, VA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Loudoun Home Delivered

Meals (meals on wheels) program, which served both Fulton and his late sister

for many years.
