Gabriel Costas Macris, aged 93, passed away at Inova Fairfax Hospital on September 6th, 2014.

Born in Cyprus on January 3, 1921, Gabriel is now in heaven to rest peacefully with his loving wife of 70 years "Loula" who passed away in May 2014. Gabriel is survived by his loving daughter Ero and her family in Cyprus, loving son Dino Macris and wife Barbara Macris.
Gabriel is also survived by his granddaughters Skevy Leavens and husband Nathan of Maryland, grandson Andrea Macris and Lisa Leung of Maryland, granddaughter Liza Fuka and husband Chad of Maryland, grandson Justin Cozzi of Virginia, and great grandsons Connor and Brody Leavens.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 12th, 2014 at the Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Road, Leesburg, VA 20176 in celebration of Gabriel's life as a husband, father, Pappou and Great Pappou. The burial will follow at Union Cemetery, 323 N King Street, Leesburg, VA.

Gabriel will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. We will always cherish his memories, stories and smiles and will live forever in our hearts. Rest in peace, we will love you always.
