Gary Wayne Newton, 60, lifelong Leesburg resident, passed away on April 19, 2014 peacefully at home surrounded by family, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Dedicated to his family, he is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lill; daughters Sandi Newton-Wright of Purcellville, VA and Ronda Newton of Flagstaff, AZ; grandchildren Conor Wright, Wyatt Swain, and Gaia and Caleb Newton; father (who predeceased him) Harry "Buddy" Newton and mother Dorothy Parker Newton and her companion Ronald McGhee of Leesburg. Also surviving is best friend Thomas England of Leesburg. Family will receive friends 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd NE, Leesburg, VA 20176 where a service will immediately follow starting at 1:00 pm.
