He loved his work, and loved helping others achieve their home buying dreams.

After moving to Northern Virginia in 1988 with 2 small children, Gayle soon became recognized as a local icon in the real estate community. That's where the Bailey Team dream really kicked off. Over the next decade, Gayle became one of Northern Virginia's premier real estate brokers. But his business plan with real estate was always second on the list of priorities when it came to family. His most important title he ever took on, was that of being a dad.

Gayle was an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting and fishing with his sons. From RV trips through the Alaskan wilderness to hiking the Grand Canyon, No challenge was too big to please his family. He was an adventurer who found time to enjoy the subtleties in life. Traversing through the fiord-lands of New Zealand, bungee jumping on his 70th birthday, or cruising through the great ocean roadway. He allowed others to enjoy all aspects of life. An incredible Real estate agent with the business edge of a lion. He brought out the best of people in the workplace and allowed so many agents, friends, and family to grow.

Gayle will forever be remembered by his willingness to help others. He devoted his life to his career and making sure his family was taken care of. He did the best he could with what he had and for that he will live on in our hearts.  He was 75 when he left us with what he had and for that he will live on in our hearts. He was 75 when he left this world, but the memory he left on so many people with that large loving smile will live on forever.

There will be a celebration of life planned for later.
