George Naim Kassar, 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 25, 2024. George was born in Sudan on April 11, 1938, to Naim and Soraya Kassar. He was the eldest of four brothers and one sister.

He spent most of his working life in the family business of textile manufacturing in Sudan. George was highly involved in the upbringing of his three children and five grandchildren. He was adored by all who met him, was known as the "life of the party," and many enjoyed his raw sense of humour.

George was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph Kassar and Gilbert Kassar.

George is survived by his wife, Nouhad Kassar; his children, Suad (Saeed) Kronfli, Naim (Melanie) Kassar, and Samir (Jacqueline) Kassar; his five grandchildren, Natalie, Nicole, June, Isabella and Leila; his siblings, Jan Kassar, and Gizele Kaikati.

Services will be held at Saint Theresa Catholic Church in Ashburn, Virginia on Thursday, September 05, 2024, at 11:00am ET; burial will follow at Saint John the Apostle Catholic Cemetery in Leesburg, Virginia; reception to follow.
