Obituary

George Swartz died February 3 at St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond, VA after a long illness. Born April 17, 1942, to John and Agnes Swartz. He graduated Loudoun County High School in 1962 and worked as a truck driver for Loudoun Milk Transportation over 20 years. He served in the Virginia National Guard in the mid 1960's.

George is survived by his wife, Jan, of 38 years, and sons David of Leesburg and Kevin of Winchester. He is also survived by his mother, three sisters, Nancy Gray, Mable Tiffany, and Peggy Blankenship, one brother, Ernest, one granddaughter Serenity Goodin, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and one brother, John.

Honorary pallbearers are Christopher Swartz, Scott Swartz, Wayne Swartz, John Tiffany, Keith Tiffany, Adam Swartz, James Goss and Tom Goss.

Visitation will be held at Colonial Funeral Home Thursday, February 9, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 7 p.m.
