George Ralph Willett, Jr, 80, passed away January 16, 2012 at home. He was born in Provo, Utah to George R. and Harriett Willett. He married Kathryn White on August 16, 1957 in the Salt Lake City Temple. He is preceded in death by her. He is survived by his sons, Ralph (Maxine), Craig (Carol), Steven (Sylvia), David (Sheri) and his daughter Carol (Tim Beeson) and 15 grandchildren. He is also survived by his wife, Kay Willett and their son Ronnie. He was an accomplished athlete in high school and college. He was a successful real estate broker in Maryland and was influential in the lives of many people in choosing real estate as their career. He served his Heavenly Father faithfully as a missionary for nearly 3 years in Holland and was a devout Bishop and member of the Stake Presidency in the Suitland Maryland Stake. The burial services will be coordinated by Colonial Funeral Home in Leesburg, Virginia.

A time of visitation has been scheduled for Thursday, January 19, 2012 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Road NE, Leesburg, VA 20176. Prayers will be said on Friday, January 20, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial services will follow starting at 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Rd, Clinton, MD 20735.
