Gerald J. Fitzgerald, 83, passed from this earth on October 31, 2020, after a long illness.

A longtime resident of Virginia for almost 60 years, where he was a land developer and commercial lending banker.

He was born in Alma, Michigan on April 8, 1937.  He leaves a Son, Michael Fitzgerald and daughter in law, Katherine, step children Wendy and Chris, 7 Grandchildren and 8 GreatGrandchildren.  He was so very loved and his kind and gentle ways won the hearts of many.
