Gerald Austin James, a retired F.B.I. Agent,  passed away on January 30, 2017 at 12:27 am after a long illness.  He is survived by a loving wife, Josephine James; daughter Kimberly Turner; two sons, Daniel James and Timothy James; granddaughter Cherice Turner; and three great grandchildren.  Family will receive friends between the hours of 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Road NE, Leesburg, Virginia 20176.  A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Friday, February 10, 2017 starting at 3:00 pm at Saint John the Apostle Catholic Church, Leesburg, Virginia.  Burial to follow in St. John Cemetery.
