Most loving husband, father and brother will dearly be missed. Germiliano Ernesto Mendoza Castro, "Ernie", passed away on June 9, 2011 at the INOVA Loudoun Hospital Center. Ernie was 66 years old. Born on April 28, 1945 in the Philippines, Ernie was the son of Alejandro Castro and Estanislawa Mendoza Castro. He and his wife, Carmencita Castro, along with their two sons Mark Anthony and Michael Allan made their home in Sterling, Virginia. Ernie was an employee of Joseph A. Bank selling men's clothing.

A time of visitation and remembrance has been planned for Ernie's family and friends at the Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd NE, Leesburg, Virginia 20176 on Sunday, June 12, 2011 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and again on Monday, June 13, 2011 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. with prayers said at 7:00 p.m.

Ernie's memories will continue to live on in the lives of his wife, Carmencita Castro; sons Mark Anthony Castro and Michael Allan Castro; and brother Rick Castro.
