It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of a truly special man, Guido Brunetti, 91, of Ashburn, VA (originally from Buffalo, NY), on October 12, 2022 after a long illness.  His quiet strength and resolve were masked by his concern for others through this challenging final season of life.  As a young man, he served in the Navy, during the Korean War, on the USS Hornet.  Then pursued a long government career with Customs and Border Protection.  He enjoyed golf, reading and the arts.  A true Renaissance man!   His kind heart, easy laugh and sympathetic ear will be forever missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his dear wife, Veva Brunetti, as well as sister Adeline Brunetti, brothers Dominic Brunetti and Achilles (George) Brunetti.

He is survived by his brother (aka "Paison"), Lawrence Brunetti;  Nieces Debra Brunetti, Pamela Brunetti and Nanci Van Ness; Nephews Gary Brunetti (wife Jeanine) and Bob Brunetti; Step-daughters Jo Ann Collins, Vicki Thessen (husband Fred) and Linda Marzucco; Step-son Bill Collins; as well as eight great nephews and multiple great-grand nephews/nieces.
