September 18, 1941 to May 28, 2023, following a long illness. She was born in Alexandria, Virginia. While attending Radford College, the Women's Division of VPI, she met her husband, George E. Poulson, Jr., who survives her. They were long-time residents of Clifton, Virginia. Also survived by sons George III, Gregory, their families, sister Mary Jane Hammerland, nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends and family Saturday, June 3, at 11 am at the Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd., NE., Leesburg, VA  20176.
