Helen Marchese, went home to be with the Lord on July 1, 2020.  Helen was born on July 11, 1929, the youngest of three children born to parents Barbara and John Milone, in Brooklyn, New York.  After high school Helen finished business school and began working as an executive assistant for a shipping line in New York city.

Helen married Dominick Marchese and had three children, two daughters AnnMarie and Barbara, and a son Vincent.

She made a beautiful home for the family and was a gracious host for many occasions.  She enjoyed cooking for her family, loved dancing and celebrated life with all of her friends and loved ones.

After her husband Dominick passed away, she worked for a time for an insurance underwriter and moved to Virginia with her daughter.

She spent the rest of her life loving, caring for her children, keeping her home and loving her grandchildren.

Helen was a mother, a wife, a sister and aunt, a grandmother and loyal friend. She touched the lives of many people and will be very missed.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd., NE, Leesburg, VA  20176 where a service will begin at 2:00 pm.

Helen will be laid to rest on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd., Calverton, NY  11933.
