Born in Clark County, Virginia, Helen H. Power, beloved wife of Brian, died Wednesday, February 4, 2009, after battling Colon Cancer for many years. Helen Power was a successful business woman in Loudoun County, a former member of the Chamber of Commerce, a realtor, and paralegal. She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Hawkins of Sterling, Va.; Daniel Hawkins of Gaithersburg, Md., and her daughter, Lisa Torrence, of Winter Springs, Fla., and four grandchildren, Danielle, Brandon, Benjamin, and Christina.
A service is scheduled this Sunday, February 8, 2009, at 3PM at Galilee United Methodist church, 45425 Winding Road, Sterling, VA 20165, with an internment at Arlington National Cemetery in the Spring.
