Henry W. "Hank" Pusser III, of Leesburg, Virginia passed away on March 2, 2009. Fifty-five year old Mr. Pusser was born in South Carolina to Miriam (Sowell) and Henry W. Pusser II on November 19, 1953.
Mr. Pusser was a technical consultant with EDS in the computer field. He was a Major in the United States Air Force. During his service in active duty, Mr. Pusser earned such medals as AF Achievement Medal, AF Commendation Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters, Meritorious Service Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters, AF Training Ribbon National Defense Service Medal, AF BMT Honor Graduate Ribbon, AF Good Conduct Medal, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon/Piston, AF Organizational Excellence Award with Three Oak Leaf Clusters, and AF Longevity Service Award.
He is survived by his wife Anna D. Pusser of Leesburg, Virginia, children Anna Erene Katherine Pusser of Leesburg, Virginia, Ryan Thomas Pusser of Atlanta, Georgia and Lacy Pusser of Atlanta, Georgia. Also surviving are sisters Margie Davis of Texas, Amelia Lewis of Alabama, and Miriam Boyer of South Carolina.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. James Episcopal Church, 14 Cornwall St. NW, Leesburg, Virginia 20176 on March 8, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. Graveside services will take place at Arlington National Cemetery on April 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.
