Herman Edward Cooper was born in Little Creek, Delaware. He graduated from Delaware State College High School with his High School Diploma And was a star basketball player. Herman later completed several college courses. Herman had a long military career in the Army, as a professional photographer, and audio tv production instructor in the United States and Europe. Herman was a Vietnam Veteran, and retired as a Master Sergeant, E-8 in Colorado. After his military career, he worked for the federal government. Herman had 6 children, five of them with his ex-wife Barbara Delle Nelson Cooper. Herman was a professional pool player and won many championship pool games. He enjoyed a wide variety of music with his favorite musicians being James Brown, Ray Charles, and Charlie Pride. Herman enjoyed dancing and watching sports on his big screen televisions. He was very intellectual and enjoyed spirited discussions. Herman was a sharp dresser, and a ladies man. His favorite pastime was riding around in his late model Lexus. He lived a full life for 91 years. He will be dearly missed.
