It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hilda Virts Beach, 86, of Paeonian Springs, VA, on October 1, 2022, at Poet's Walk Memory Care Facility in Leesburg, VA. Hilda was born on March 1, 1936, to Garnie & Edith Virts in Leesburg, VA.  Hilda was a life-long resident of Loudoun County who enjoyed spending time with her family, watching New York Yankees baseball, gardening, and reading.  She was an avid dog lover, in particular, of German Shepherds.  Hilda worked for the Federal Government for 38 years before retiring in 1993.

She is survived by her son Jeff Beach (Debbie); her sister Wanda English; four grandchildren, Angela Beach, Donald R. (Randy) Beach III, Roxanna Belflower (Brett), and Tiffany Vrana (Nick); seven great grandchildren, Audrey Beach, Averi Landon, Ashlyn Landon, Owen Beach, Colin Beach, Elianna Belflower, and Madison Belflower.

She was predeceased by her son, Donald R. Beach, Jr, in 2008 and her husband, Donald R. Beach, Sr. in 2013.

Arrangements are being made by Colonial Funeral Home in Leesburg, VA.  A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, October 11 ^th , at 11:00 am.  A graveside service is to be held directly after at Hillsboro Cemetery.
