"I was born to run, I was born to dream
The craziest boy you ever seen, I gotta do it my way
Or no way at all"
Ian "E" "Tigger" "Dad" Bush, 51, of Round Hill, VA passed away on July 6, 2022, surrounded by close friends and family. Ian was born on May 26, 1971, in Arlington, VA, and remained in Northern Virginia his entire life.
Ian graduated from Paul VI High School in 1989 and went on to get a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems and Operations Management from George Mason University. He would then become a PMP and a licensed Real Estate Agent.
"It's a little bit funny, this feeling inside
I'm not one of those who can easily hide
I don't have much money but, boy if I did
I'd buy a big house where, we both could live"
Ian married the love of his life, Maylee in 1996 at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Clifton, VA after a 3-year courtship. In 2008, they welcomed their son Alexander "Xander" Bush.
Ian was a hard worker and was known to have more than one job to keep busy. Having been on his own since 18, Ian was always proud of the life he made and for putting himself through school. At the time of his passing, Ian worked as Senior Manager, Billing Technology at COMCAST, as well as a Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams because he loved houses and found he was good at selling them. He was a Top Producer multiple years in a row.
"Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, dreams are forever." Ian lived life to the fullest and wasn't afraid to chase after his dreams. He flew planes, owned his own restaurant, was briefly an NHL Mascot, owned a boat, and spent as much free time as he could at Disney with his wife and son. His greatest joy in life, however, was his son Xander. They shared a love for heavy metal and classic rock music, chocolate milkshakes, and scary movies. Ian was proud of his family and often spoke of May and Xander and their many travel adventures.
Ian is survived by his wife of 26 years, Maylee Bush, and his son, Xander, 14 of Round Hill, VA. He is also survived by his Grandmother, Mary Rita Bush, Mt. Prospect, IL, his parents, Bob and Paula Bush, Ashburn, VA, his sister Allison (Jawad) Dar, Centreville, VA and close friends that were family to him, Brian and Carolyn Wall, Chantilly, VA and Andrew Mickert, Round Hill, VA.

"We're On A Mission From God"
Ian lit up any room he walked into. He was gregarious and hilariously funny. He made everyone he knew feel safe and loved. He will truly be missed and life will never be the same without him. Until we meet again…
