Ida Mae Powell Bayles, 60 of Leesburg, VA, went home to be with her lord and savior, surrounded by her loving family on November 7 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in King George, Virginia. She was born on December 13, 1949 in Leesburg, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late William Edward Powell Sr. and Georgia Bell Allison Powell.
Mrs. Bayles was a Nurses Aid at Long Term Care in Leesburg, VA for many years prior to moving to king George, Va to live with her daughter, son in law and grandchildren. She loved attending church services, baking, playing cards and spending time with her family.
Surviving is her daughter Wendy Michelle Love, and son-in-law Joey Love, her grandchildren Ricky William Hardman, Brittany Mae Dawne Hardman, Nicholas Dean Love and his wife Tiffany Love, Amanda Jaye Love Owen and her husband Nate Owen, and Daniel James Love. She also leaves her three great grandchildren, Hope, Lauren and Christian, three brothers Russell, William and Jerry Powell, 6 nieces, 5 nephews, 16 great nieces and nephews and 4 great- great nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her sisters Margaret McCauly, Caryll Payne and Mary Laycock.
Viewing for the family will be from 12:00 to 12:30, friends may follow from 12:30 to 1:00 pm.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday November 11, 2010 at Abundant Life Ministries, in Hamilton, Va. with Brother Paul Campbell officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Leesburg, Va.
Pall Bearers are: Ricky Hardman, Nick Love, Danny Love, Tommy Laycock, Tee Oden and Ricky Hummer.
