Ida Virginia Wilson D'Ambro (Ginny) passed away in Leesburg Va. on March 23, 2025.She was 95 years old and born in Philadelphia, Pa. the daughter of Howard Blaney Mann and Ida Virginia Clark Mann. She is survived by daughter Carol Wilson of Newark De, daughter Gale Towery (Dan) of Leesburg Va., and son Steven Wilson of Wilmington, De., Grandchildren Nathan Towery (Courtney), Jason Towery (Becca)and Micah Towery (Jill). She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren Ethan,Ele, Ben, Natalie Jude Josh John and Francis and a niece Nancy Mann (Barbara) and nephew Peter Mann (Kathi). She was predeceased by her first husband Wayne D. Wilson and second husband Ed D'Ambro, brother Howard Ronald Mann and nephew Ronald Mann Jr.

Ginny loved University of Delaware football, dogs, cats and music. She had a talent for remembering lyrics and music to songs from long ago. She always kept a lovely home that welcomed many family and friends who gathered there to celebrate birthdays, graduations, holidays and football parties.

She was a long-standing member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Newark, De. In Jan 2023 she moved to a long-term care facility in Leesburg, Va. and was dearly loved by the staff and residents there.

In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Newark Delaware and the Humane Society of Delaware.
