Funeral services celebrating the life of Ival Kestner Craun will be held at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesburg, Virginia on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Ivy Hill Cemetery, Upperville, Virginia under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home.

The family requests that friends visit at Colonial Funeral Home Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Craun, 88, of Woodworth, passed from this life on Friday, October 4, 2013 at Naomi Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Alexandria, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Martha Brooks Kestner; brothers, Charles, Harold and Douglas Krestner; and sisters, Nancy Swart and Ann Williams.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of almost 71 years, Lawrence Craun; sons, Larry and David Craun; daughters, Barbra Craun Colquitt and Nancy, Rebecca and Dovie Craun; sisters, Virginia Edwards, Inez Scuro and Helen Poland; six grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter.
