Obituary
James W. "Wilson" Hardy, 67, of Leesburg, Virginia passed away on February 21, 2009.
Born in Virginia on March 2, 1941, he was one of four children to the late Ray W. and Helen (Jenkins) Hardy.
Mr. Hardy was a painter with the Smith Thomas Smith painting company. He was a great fan of the Dallas Cowboys and had a fond love of horseracing.
Left behind to share his memories are his wife Barbara J. Hardy, children: Tracy Weber pf Brunswick, Maryland; Robin Little of Brunswick, Maryland; son James W. Hardy, Jr. of Orange Virginia; and step daughter Debbie E. Allison of Leesburg, Virginia along with five grandchildren and three sisters: Kathleen Hix of Fairfax, Virginia; Patsy Davis and Brenda Trovell both of Winchester, Virginia.
A visitation will be held for family and friends at Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd. NE, Leesburg, Virginia 20176 on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 from the hours of 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A service will be on Thursday, February 26, 2009 starting at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery in Hillsboro, Virginia.
