James Platz passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013 while residing at Heritage Hall in Leesburg, Virginia. Mr. Platz was 86 years old. Born in Texarkana, Texas, he was the son of the late John Emile and Jeannette (Snook) Platz. He is married to Wilma Bell Platz. Mr. Platz worked as a chemical engineer with the DuPont Corporation.

All services will be held in Delaware.
