James M. Shevis passed away on July 10, 2009 at Heritage Hall in Leesburg, Virginia. Mr. Shevis was 79 years old. He was previously residing in Herndon, Virginia.
Born on October 2, 1929 in Vermont, he was the son of James Allen and Frances (Ritchie) Shevis. Mr. Shevis served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a writer and editor with the Federal Government.
He leaves behind to carry on his memories his daughter, Heidi Clark and son, Andrew Allan Shevis. Services will be private.
