Obituary

James (Jim) White Graham, 73, of Hamilton, passed away on January 14 after battling cancer for over a year.   Jim was born on July 6, 1951, in Leesburg.

After high school, Jim worked for the Highway Department before beginning his career with NOVEC in 1982.  He served as Staking Engineer.  After more than 15 years of service, Jim left to start his second career.  He worked for the Transportation Division of Loudoun County Public Schools.  He retired in 2015.

Additionally, Jim was a charter member of Hamilton Rescue Squad and a life member of Fire Company 5, where he was Chief and President for several years.

Jim met his love, Peggy, in 1984.  They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on October 13.

Jim was predeceased by his parents, Juanita and James; his grandparents, Helen and George (Wesley) and Evelyn and Oscar.  He is survived by his devoted wife, Peggy; his faithful friends, Gunner and Nugget; his brother Peter and wife Mary; and his sister Caroline.

A memorial service will be held at Harmony Hall on February 15 at 2:00.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Loudoun First Responders Foundation. Information is available here: https://lfrf.org/
