Dedicated employee, Jane Lois Meintel, of Leesburg, Virginia passed away on June 20, 2009 while at Loudoun Nursing & Rehabilitation. Mrs. Meintel was employed as a chief operator with the C&P Telephone Company of West Virginia for 37 years. She was an active member in the Telephone Pioneers.

Mrs. Meintel was born in Ohio on January 10, 1925 to deceased parents John E. and Dora A. (Freeland) Davies. She was married to the late Paul O. Meintel. After moving to Leesburg, she became a member of the Leesburg United Methodist Church.

Left behind to remember and share her memories are her daughters Robin and Renee Meintel both of Leesburg, Virginia.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd. NE, Leesburg, Virginia 20176.
