Janet Mary Donohoe passed away on June 14, 2022. Janet was born in Leesburg, VA on March 30, 1955, the third child to John Kerfoot Donohoe and Mary Virginia Dwyer Donohoe. She graduated from Loudoun County High School in the class of 1973. She earned an Associate Degree from Northern Virginia Community College.
Those whose lives Janet touched will always remember her for her kindness, her sense of humor, her love of cats, dogs and the Commanders, her love of swimming and of her family. She loved music, country westerns, reading biographies and hunting for collectibles. She was an enthusiastic Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune participant from the comfort of her living room. The memory of her gentle smile will always be a blessing.
Janet leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews, Ann Sallgren Rodgers, John Kerfoot Donohoe III, Mary Meaghan Sallgren Clark, Patrick Joseph Jewel, Charlene Carrie Sallgren, as well as her cherished great nieces and nephews, Scarlett Mary Clark, Hazel Ember Hendricks, Laurel Ann Clark, Cora Francis Garland Clark, Phillip James Rodgers and Edward Siarl Rodgers. She also leaves behind her older sister Judy Donohoe Sallgren. She is proceeded in death by her brother, John Kerfoot Donohoe II and her parents.
There will be a Celebration of Life service at 10am at Union Cemetery in Leesburg. Donations in her honor can be sent to the Blue Ridge Hospice or Clarke County Animal Shelter.
