Jean Doescher, loving wife, mother and grandmother, left us suddenly on 25 June 2016. A native New Yorker, she taught elementary and middle school in the North Rockland School District for over 20 years. Following the death of her husband Walter Doescher, she moved to the Ashby Ponds retirement community in Ashburn, Virginia in 2009 to be closer to family.

She is survived by her son Craig Doescher of Newport News, Virginia; her son and daughter-in-law Curt and Kathy Doescher of Stafford, Virginia; her granddaughter Kelly Doescher and grandson Colin Doescher of Stafford; grandson Kyle Doescher of Arlington, Virginia; and grandsons Scott and Curt Doescher of Ashburn.

Family will receive friends between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm on July 1, 2016 at the Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Road NE, Leesburg, Virginia 20176 where a memorial service will immediately follow starting at 2:00 pm.at
