Jean Carolyn Robinson Gillis will always be remembered as a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, aunt, and a beloved sister. At 100 years old, she fell asleep in death.

Jean was born to William and Carolyn Robinson. She was a dedicated Jehovah's Witness. Her passion in life was teaching and helping others to learn the wonderful promises found in the Bible.

Jean will be remembered for her hospitality, kind heart, love of playing cards and green thumb. Her warm smile and ability to make conversation with anyone will be dearly missed. Most of all, Jean Gillis will be remembered for her abiding faith in Jehovah and His Kingdom. One of Jean's favorite songs was "Just Around The Corner" found at www.jw.org . (Link found below) Jean had undeniable confidence she would be resting peacefully, safe in God's memory, and brought back to life here on earth in the very near future to reunite with all her loved ones in paradise.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, John Gillis; as well as sister (Nell), brothers (Paul, William, and Sam) and her son (James).

She is survived by her children, Jan and John, along with nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
