Jerell "Jere" Leah Devlin was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 21, 1933. She passed on April 20, 2017 at her residence in Lansdowne, Virginia. She was the daughter of Jewel and Walter Lundell and grew up in Manhasset, New York. She graduated from Goucher College where she met her beloved husband L. Hugh Devlin. Married for sixty-two years, they raised their five children, Kathleen, Kimberly, Leah, Cheri and Bruce in Bethesda, Maryland. Jere was a woman of deep faith and active in the Bethesda United Methodist Church and later in The Chapel at Lansdowne Woods. Jere was an amazing mother, wife and grandmother to her seven grandchildren. She loved her family, reading, and needle-work.
