Jessie Elizabeth (Conner) Cooper, age 71 of Leesburg, VA, died peacefully on November 20, 2014. She was born on December 7, 1942, in Charleston, WV to Mary G. and Atlee Conner who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Floyd and Alice Gibson, and her paternal grandparents, George and Hattie Conner. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Kendall Cooper; son, Jonathan Reese Cooper; loving sisters, Mary Alice (John) Baird, Linda Kay Conner and Lora Lynn (Timothy) Snow; nieces and nephews, Brian Melton, Christina (T.J.) Haller, Julia Snow and Conner Snow; granddaughter, Delaney Cooper; and good and faithful friend, Shelley Delaney.


Jessie attended WVU and received her BA in art education. She was a successful teacher, interior designer, realtor and business owner. One of her many successful designs was the interior of the historic Ariel Theatre in Gallipolis, OH. She was a life-long member of Tiskelwah Chapter #45, Order of the Eastern Star.


Jessie was generous with her time and talents and befriended many people. She enjoyed her world travels.
