Joan Elizabeth Reed, age 70 of Lansdale, PA, died Saturday, February 19th in the Lansdale Hospital, Lansdale, PA. She was born in Washington, DC, and was the daughter of the late Milton Colbert and the late Lucille (Maddra) Reed. Joan was a resident of the Roxborough section of Philadelphia, PA for over 25 years having originally resided in Arlington, VA. Retired at her death, her previous occupations included property and office management. She was a member of Job's Daughters.

Loving Mother of daughter, Jennifer Reed of Philadelphia, PA and son, David Reed of Perkasie, PA; Dear Grammy of Michael, Jessica, Christopher, and Hayley.

Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation at the Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, 201 Edwards Ferry Road NE, Leesburg, VA 20176 on Monday, February 28, 2011 between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Everyone is then welcome to proceed to the Union Cemetery, Leesburg, Virginia to attend the graveside service.
