Obituary

John Cullen "Jack" Judge, 89, peacefully passed away due to cancer at his home in
Ashburn, Virginia on March 25, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.
He leaves his wife of 65 years, Doris Amann Judge; his son Jeffrey Judge (Lori); his
daughter Stephanie Judge Kagarise (Bill); his son Kevin Judge; his son Michael Judge
(Dey); grandson Jonathan Kagarise (Beth); grandson Jason Kagarise (Courtney); and five
great-grandchildren.

A native of Gloversville, New York, Jack graduated from Union College, Schenectady, NY
with a BS in Psychology and from George Washington University with a BS in Civil
Engineering.

He joined Washington Gas Light Company in 1957 as a Junior Laboratory Engineer.
Over the succeeding years, Jack served in the Marketing Department as Market
Manager-Engineered Sales, and General Superintendent, Appliance Service Department.
He retired in 1991 as Director, Customer Support Services, with 34 years of dedicated
service. He also served on several American Gas Association Committees.

As a two-letterman athlete in college, he enjoyed participating in many athletic activities
as he raised his family. Golf, hunting, fishing and skiing were just a few of his passions.
He loved coaching and teaching his children in many activities as they grew up.

Now that it is possible to congregate outdoors, Jack's Interment Service will take place at
the Place of Peace Columbarium, on the grounds of Saint Benedict Monastery, located at
9535 Linton Hall Road, Bristow, Virginia on June 1 at 11:00 AM.
