John Paul Raphael Leon was born at 10:33 a.m. on January 4th, 2018, and died in the arms of his parents and surrounded by love on Friday, January 5th, 2018 at 2:43 p.m.

He weighed 4 lb 1 ounce and was 18 inches long.  He was baptized by his parents and confirmed by Father Stefan Starzynski at Fairfax Hospital.  His 28 hours and 10 minutes were pure love, and he brought incredible joy to his parents, grandparents, and siblings.   His life was a miracle to us all, and while we miss him terribly, we entrust him to the arms of our Lord and his Blessed Mother.

He is grieved by his parents, Ralph and Betsy Leon; his siblings, Meaghan, Alicia, and Carrie Leon, Maggie Good, Andrew Leon, Leah, James, Nathan, and Clare Good; his grandparents, Elizabeth Torresson, Thomas and Joann Torresson, and Ralph and Olga Leon; and his great-grandmother Patricia Lawhon, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 10th at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Ashburn, Virginia with a burial immediately following at St. John the Apostle cemetery in Leesburg, Virginia.
