John (Jack) Michael Walters passed away suddenly on November 2, 2016 in Leesburg, VA.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm on Monday, November 7, 2016 at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg. Funeral services will be held immediately after at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg.  Burial will follow at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church Cemetery in Leesburg, VA.

Jack was born in Wilmington, Delaware to James and Julia Walters on March 7, 1947. He married Judith Bednarski Walters on July 22, 1978 in Avoca, PA. He graduated from the University of Delaware and obtained his MBA from the George Washington University. He worked as a civil servant for the federal government and retired from the Federal Aviation Administration after nearly 30 years of public service. Jack was a devoted catholic and in his free time enjoyed yoga, watching baseball, and being a dog dad.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents, James and Julia Walters, and his wife, Judith Bednarski Walters.

Jack is survived by his three daughters and two son-in laws, Ellen and Oki Mekhagnomdara, Julie and Paul Cronauer, and Sara Walters; his brother Jim Walters and his spouse Sue Walters; his sister Judy Klee and her spouse David Klee; and three grandsons, Koi, Kyler and Joseph Paul (JP).
