John W. Wimer age 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday December 26, 2015 at Loudoun Hospital in Ashburn VA. Born on February 9, 1937 in Boonsboro MD. Formerly resided in Arcola VA., Winchester VA. and Sterling VA.

Mr. Wimer was a retired Fairfax County VA. Electrical Inspector. He also worked as a self employed electrician. He was a Navy Veteran and a member of Arcola Pleasant Valley VFD Co. 9. He enjoyed helping others.

Preceding John was his loving wife Marion S. Wimer. She had passed away on June 21, 2008.

John was proud of his four chrildren, DJ Wimer and his wife TIna of Winchester VA., Kim S. Croson and her husband Troy of Winchester VA., Gy Wimer and his wife Valerie of Clearbrook VA., Ty and Lydia Wimer in which he lived with in Sterling VA.
He is also survived by sisters Mary and Kittie Wimer, his grandchildren, Rachel E. Wimer, Dusty T. Croson, Sierra-Nichole Wimer, Ashtyn B. Reynolds and her husband Kyle and their son Aric, Jonathan R. Wimer, Luke A. Williams, Dakota B. Williams, Brian Lee Wooley II, Lyndsay Wooley Perott, Kayla S. Ward, Ryan S. and Taylor M. Reid. as well as JW's little friends Dewey, Chewey, Shelby, Gizmo and Boots.
