Johnny Keith Wilson, known affectionately as Keith, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was 62 years old.

Born in Lebanon, Virginia, Keith was a lifelong resident of the Commonwealth. He attended high school in Lebanon before embarking on a career that would span decades and take him across the state.

Keith began his professional journey with the highway department, serving the communities of Bristol, Stanton, and Richmond. His dedication, work ethic, and motivation propelled him forward, culminating in his role as the land acquisition manager for Leesburg, Virginia. Keith was known for his unwavering commitment to his town and his tireless efforts to improve the community he called home.

A man of diverse interests, Keith was an avid reader with a vast knowledge on many subjects. He held season tickets for the Washington Nationals for four years, cherishing the time spent at the ballpark. Keith's love for travel was evident in the many adventures he shared with his family, creating lasting memories that his loved ones will forever treasure.

Keith is survived by his three children: Makenzie and her husband Seth of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; Owen of Raleigh, North Carolina; and Bonnie of Blacksburg, Virginia. He also leaves behind three beloved granddaughters: Eleanor, Adelaide, and Imogen, who brought immense joy to his life. Keith is additionally survived by his mother, Patsy Sue Wilson.
