On, Monday August 12, 2013, Judy Diane Ramey departed this earthly life at Commonwealth Fairfax Rehab Center in Fairfax, VA. She was the oldest daughter of the late Robert Ramey and Helen Ramey. She was born April 20, 1953 in Leesburg, VA.

She was educated in the Loudoun County Public Schools. She was a former CNA and cook at The Oak Springs of Warrenton until her health declined, and then she became a homemaker for her family. She was a faithful member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Warrenton, VA.

She was preceded in death by her sister; Roberta Mae Ramey Murphy and parents; Robert and Helen Ramey.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: a loving and devoted lifetime partner of 32 years; Elliott R. Johnson of Warrenton, VA; Two children- One son: Rayfield James Ramey of Warrenton, VA One daughter: Helen Marie Ramey of Warrenton, VA; Two brothers- Robert Ramey SR of Burke, VA and Daniel Ramey of Leesburg, VA ; Three nephews- Robert Ramey JR of Leesburg, VA, William Ramey of Leesburg, VA and Dominique Barbour of Leesburg, VA and one niece- Felicia Ryals of Durham, NC; Two Granddaughters- Shanel Ramey of Warrenton, VA and Shanika Ramey of Warrenton, VA One Grandson- Kaieem Ramey of Culpeper, VA; One God-Daughter- Regina Barbour of Manassas, VA; Two Great-Grandsons, eleven great nephew and six great nieces and a special friend Cassie Grayson of Manassas, VA and a host of family and friends.
Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friends and she will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd, Leesburg, VA 20176 where a service will begin at 1:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Hamilton, VA.
